New to DreamViews... Lucid dreaming not so much....

      Hello,

I'm new to this site, and I'm very happy to have found it because as a child I have had many experiences with vivid dreams, lucid dreams, even precognitive dreams and as I've matured it doesn't happen as often. Knowing that there's a technique I've decided to work on increasing my dream recall because supposedly that's the first step, but if anyone knows of anything else I can do please let me know lol. My goals are to visually see my higher self and maybe speak to him, and to get some questions answered maybe even by my spirit guide. Hopefully this turns into what I'm expecting it to because the freedom of being able to do anything in a dream is an amazing experience I just have to achieve again, and I have hopes of being able to do it daily.

      Hey NoAngel, welcome to dreamviews

I like your goals, similar to mine once I become skilled enough to start exploring that area of myself.

You hit the nail on the head with your first priority being recall. From what I've learned, the next step I would take is to pick a technique that resonates with you and stick to it. Sometimes techniques take more time to work for each person, so don't be discouraged if you don't succeed straight away.

And most importantly is to MASTER the BASICS first, then move on to the more advanced stuff. I for one have tried too much too early and it just didn't work for me. Since changing my mindset, it's been a noticeable change in successfully getting things to work for me.

Be sure to read through the WIKI and tutorials, there's so much useful information on this site. Good luck
