      Is this lucid dreaming? newbie

My question is if I have been having lucid dreaming all along?
I just became aware of this term while re-seaching "empath" definitions. I am 37 and just now realizing what I considered to be normal my whole life- others do not view as normal.
I have, on average once a month or so, wake up and remember being aware that I was dreaming. I can actually remember on many occasions saying to myself while dreaming- No , I don't want it like this- and then its like a rewind button is hit and I do it over in my dream the way I wanted.

      That make any sense?

Yeah that does sound like lucid dreaming. Really it's whatever you want it to be.

As long as you know your dreaming while your doing it that is a lucid dream

Go with the flow means you just are aware but doing what the dream wants.

Control means that you take control of the dream, do what you want (maybe
even go some place else entirely, or fly, or order people around, create things
next time your aware your dreaming try to control something

Like say you think to yourself I'm dreaming, I want to find my favorite candy
in my pocket, then believe it is in there and pull it out and eat it
(you have just created your favorite candy out of belief alone
As you eat the candy imagine new flavors you wish they made, and believe
that is how the next one will taste.

      Yup, it is

And we are a lot of the same, it has been the same experience for me, believe it is the same for everybody until I learned the "lucid dreaming" words.

Ever since posting this I often find candy in my dreams, in my last dream I came across a stash of strawberry-orange-cream starbursts, I quickly pocketed a few rolls, to bad I never ate them guess no one will ever know what this flavor tastes like

Rewind button sounds kind of cool, I should try that sometime.

I've also been lucid dreaming pretty much my whole life but didn't really know what it was called for a while. When I first started researching it more, I went on to read Lucid Dreaming: Gateway to the Inner Self by Robert Waggoner, and I highly recommend it. Before, I didn't realize all the potential LDing held.
