Hi 2Fruits, you're entering a wonderful new dimension of the mind, I hope you stay on this path of discovery because lucid dreams are totally awesome and people who think they aren't are sad in my subjective opinion. |

Hello everyone! I'd like to start by saying that this forum looks awesome! I'm 15 and live in Australia. I had never heard of lucid dreaming until we discussed it in philosophy class. I've had a few experiences with lucid dreams when I was little, but they were very poor quality. Out of these, only two I didn't wake up from after a few seconds, from the shock of realising I was in a dream. I would love to learn to WILD and/or DILD and before I knew much about DILDs, I attempted to WILD only to fall asleep after relaxing and seeing scenes and images. I have really bad dream recall and know that I dream, just can't remember them. So I have started to keep a dream diary, and last night had a dream which I pieced together bits that I had remembered during the day! So if anyone has any tips or experiences with their attempts at LDing I would love to hear! |

Thank you all for these informative replies, I will definitely have a go at some of this advice! I will also have a look at the tutorials section. I'll report back in a few days about the progress of my dream diary. Thanks |

Hi, I agree with what they're saying; a dream diary really does help. It only takes about 10 days to get okay dream recall. I should know I'm doing it at the moment like you are. Also if you want to make a bar chart at the back with the weekdays along the bottom and number of dreams going up. It helps chart your progress and is quite an encouragement to see how well you're doing. Well, good luck. |
