      Hello from Ireland

      Hello!

I became interested in lucid dreaming late last year but I only properly started attempting it yesterday when I started a dream journal. Both last night and the night before I remembered what I was dreaming about. I actually woke up multiple times last night but when I fell back to sleep I reentered the same dream, is that common?

Also I put a sticky note on my bedroom door asking me if I'm dreaming. I bought a carton of apple juice and B vitamins too.

Anyway, nice to meet you all!

      Hey Dizzard, welcome to DreamViews!!

Reentering the same dream is pretty common, but more than that it's awesome! When someone attains lucidity using the DEILD technique for example, reentering the dream like that is a great tool for keeping your lucidity, even if you accidentally wake up before you want to. More on DEILD: http://www.dreamviews.com/induction-...cid-dream.html

I like your sticky note idea, and looks like you're stocking your pantry for lucid success. Keep that DJ going too, because increased recall is such an exciting adventure regardless of whether or not you're targeting lucidity. Looking forward to great things from you

I love reentering the same dream after waking up, especially if it's an enjoyable one. I think it's fun to watch some dream story lines play out.

If you ever have any questions about lucid dreaming, feel free to PM me. I love to help people

Thank you (both of you) for the welcome and information.

If I keep writing in my dream journal and do reality checks during the day, I should eventually become more aware of myself in dreams right? The last few nights I haven't had realistic dreams at all but it feels like my sense of logic is on a vacation. I haven't once considered looking at my hands or noticed that anything looks out of place. I feel so oblivious.
