Howdy there! I'm PhantasmDragon. Welcome to Dream Views!

I hope you enjoy your time as part of the community. We have lots of resources around here and everyone is always happy to help. If you want to know a good place to start, I suggest you start here: http://www.dreamviews.com/intro-clas...sons-i-iv.html This is board is located in the Intro Class sub-forum of the DV Academy forum. In it, it explains the basic concepts of lucid dreaming such as what a lucid dream is, dream journaling, reality checks, awareness, etc. along with explaining the 3 basic techniques and ways you can increase your likely-hood of having a lucid dream all in a simple, four lesson format. It even has links to tutorials which specialize in specific techniques talked about in the article! Anyways, feel free to ask questions in the Attaining Lucidity forum if you need a piece of specific, personal advice.

Since you do not any experience with lucid dreaming, I'm going to end this off with some tips I feel is important for people just being introduced to lucid dreaming. Don't give up if you don't have results within two weeks. Lucid dreaming is a skill and takes time to develop. Also, don't be afraid to change techniques if one does not seem to be getting you results. Not all techniques work well for all people. Finally, don't try to force yourself too hard in order to have a lucid dream. More often than not, this tires out new lucid dreamers and they get frustrated because of lacking results. Take it slow and steady and don't be afraid to take a break from lucid dreaming if becomes a nuisance. Just come back to it when you have more energy, motivation, and time to do so.

Alright, now that thats over, I hope you have an amazing time lucid dreaming and I wish you good luck in your travels in becoming a lucid dreamer!
