      One new person from Iceland

How do you like Iceland? No realy, have you heard anything about it or been there, and what have you heard and whatnot.
It's not likely that you'll bump into me if you visit the country. Although there aren't many of us (around300,000). It's because I'm working way up in the mounteins at a dam progect. It will be the biggest dam in Europe. Thankfully, I'm working in the restorant. I'm happy about it because I get to work inside, it's so cold outside. It started snowing in August. And there will be stormes and whatnot in January.
I'm saving up for a world tour. It's a 2 year trip. I'll be traveling alone with my videocamera and searching for adventures. And if it ends up beeing interesting enough, I'll release a documentary.

Now, about my dreams: I've been ceeping a dream journal since christmass. I gave everyone in my family one, and gave myself one too. There isn't much in it because I haven't been writing in it as much as I promised myself I would. But I have got two lucid dreams since. Maybe not much, but I'll post about it in a proper forum.

When I was young I sometimes asked myself if this was a dream. I think I remember it happening three times. And every single time I imideatly turned to my dad and asked him if this was a dream. And he would answere in a flash "no". And that was that. Ok, lets continue. Sometimes my dad wasn't even around and he just came when I wanted to ask him.

"Enough about me. Tell me something about you..."

Edit: it seems I'm the only Icelandic person still active. Hope someone can get more Icelandic people here so that I don't get to lonely. Not that I think that I will, just that sometimes I want to 'speak' Icelandic.

      Welcome, steingrimur!
That is an interesting place you are in, & an interesting trip you plan on going on!
Great job in keeping a DJ, but as you said, try to write in it more often, & don't always ask adults if you are dreaming...try to find out yourself if you are.

Good luck with your dream endeavour and with your journey! Actually, they're similar: both of them imply searching for something (oneself, the others, the nature, the truth...).

A dream journal as a gift is a nice idea. It might help in keeping the mind focused on dreaming too: everyone in the family can share witht the other members their dreams. This would even enhance the exploration of shared dream.

Anyway, you asked about Iceland. I know your country, but I've never been there. I associate geysers and good and nice people to Iceland. The northest point I ever reached is Goteborg in Sweden. Quite South compared to Iceland

Scandinavian people are socially open and one can breathe an air of freedom being there. Good atmosphere to enjoy lucid dreams!
