      Hello!

      Hello all!

After a considerable amount of lurking in the shadows I’ve decided it’s time to step into the “spotlight”

I'm Lighthouse, I'm a Dutchie and my story goes a bit as following:

My interest in Lucid dreaming started in January 2015 after reading some post on 9gag about a movie called Inception.
Never heard of it before but it seemed a promising movie.
I’ve heard about being conscious in your dream, but thought it was something you can’t influence.(and wasn't I wrong about that one XD)
After watching it I was blown away by the presentation of the concept lucid dreaming.
It sparked my interest in it, so I started to search about it on the web.
After some researching I learn that the skills for lucid dreaming are learnable, so I stared to search about how to.
This brought me to this website and not long after that I’ve had my first lucid.
Which felt like the best thing ever, how could I even not know about this before^^
Since then I’ve been scooping up all the information I can get my hands on and start using it for my adventures.

As far as techniques go I’m using the DILD technique and recently I’m experimenting a bit with WBTB/WILD.
However due to the nature of my work (Seafarer) it is hard to come by a “Normal” sleep routine so it’s a bit of hit and miss.

Hopefully by posting on DV forums my mind will be even more in the lucid dream mode.

      See you around!

      to Dreamviews!

I feel that consistent sleep schedule is important, but having WILDs without one is possible. If you get decent amount of sleep (at least 5 hrs, more is better) and you are able to take a nap after your sleep (which is basically a WBTB), having WILDs is very likely.

That's how I WILD and it works. But you may need to find your own thing, what works best for you. Let us know if you need any help.

Btw, it was great talking to you in chat the other day. Happy dreams and fair waters!
