am i beggining to have lucid dreams?

ok i'm a newbie as you can probably see . i've had 3 experiences so far that have kind of scared me. i'll be asleep but conscious....then i'll feel my body vibrate like if something is leaving it. i realize i'm dreaming through all of this, get scared and make my body wake up. i'm afraid of whats next after the vibrating, so i haven't gonne through with it. i was told it was a lucid dream. the first time it happened i was dreaming my wife and i were outside and i realized i was dreaming, so i tried to make myself fly. thats when the vibration began, and i woke myself up. what happens after the vibrating?

Do you feel your real body vibrating through the dream or is it your dream body? The experience is similar to WILD, although it usually occurs when one is starting to get asleep, not when one's dreaming.
Anyway, you said you realized you were dreaming, so technically, you had a lucid dream. Congratulations!

thanks for the reply. this is what happens, i'm dreaming....but i'm aware of it, then when i start to take control of it is when i feel the vibration throughout my body and it feels like if i'm leaving my body. when i start feeling distant from my body is when i get scared and make myself wake up. i'm afraid if i go through with this experience i won't come back to my body, thats why i make myself wake up. on one occassion i felt the vibrations briefly then i started dreaming i was watching myself from the side of the bed, but i felt like i was drunk and couldn't control my body. again i got scared and made myself wake up. thanks again for the reply.

these vibrations are normal during WILD and during dreams. in my first lucid dream i had intense vibrations at the moment i realised i was dreaming. immediatly after that was when i could controll(i could fly and summon etc). The next time you feel these vibrations in a dream i suggest you go with it

Don't worry, you will. You never actually leave your body, it's merely a product of your imagination. But these fears are normal.

You are so lucky to have these vibraritons. You naturly started a WILD. Dont be afraid of your vibrations, your very lucky to have them. If you read the tutorials on this site, and look aourdn the bords, youll see that vibraritons can become quite helpful

      Hi xsk,

It seems that you epxerienced sleep paralysis, a normal phase of dreaming. You could check also the thread "Vibrations and Fear" in the Lucid Dreaming Discussion Forums; there someone wrote about a similar experience.

      Ciao!

It sounds like you started to wake up, but forced yourself to keep sleeping so you went into a later stage of WILD.

It raises an interesting question-what if you really are leaving your body. You died during the night, but your soul exists in a lucid dream state .
