Welcome Sammysmo! |

Hi, my name is Sam, I am from England.I am really new to lucid dreaming ,I have been trying different approaches for about two months now.I have looked into it before but never really acted upon it.I have always had a realativly good dream recall but started writing them down and on average remember 4/5 dreams.I started reality checking and after the first week I had what I thought was a lucid dream but I think I was just dreaming about lucid dreaming. My mind must be trying as I am waking a few times in the night , ( I never did before ).Well after two months of trying I think I may have had my first lucid dream! It only lasted maybe a few minutes and all I can say is wow!Looking into it I think it was a low lucidity ( if that's the correct usage) I knew I was awake but couldn't control much, the dream still took me in a certain direction.Whatever it was it felt amazing! When I woke up I was so excited it took me a long time to calm down again. I would love some clarification on the matter but I feel that I may have rambled on enough already without posting the whole dream on here |

"Dream look real, but they're in your mind, so you realize that the physical world is also a construction, which shows that the mind can affect reality in more ways than you can imagine." ~Stephen Laberge
Heeeeeeeeeeee! That's so cool, Sam! |

I need to have my first lucid |

Ah thanks for your comments , I will have to write it up in my dream journal then.I am still buzzing from it, I havn't managed to have another one yet , which is probably being a bit ambitious but I want more now! I have been using the mild method I just think I need to work on my reality checks I can't really seem to find one that appears in my dreams. |
|
I have posted it in the dream journal , I think I have done it right , maybe |
|
I just read your dream. You have comments disabled on your dream journal though, so I'll comment here! |

Hmm not sure how I managed to disable comments, I have tried to look for settings to adjust it but can't seem to find anything 🤔 Technology doesn't seem to like me much. Its really nice of you to say you think I am talented but it all felt like a bit of a fluke if I am being honest. I have tried to recreate that nite ever since to no avail , it's funny because it wasn't the dream scene I focused on , I used my old work place because I seem to dream about that place a lot so not sure if to use that or the beach scene that came up on its own . Its all new to me , if it was through willpower alone it should happen a lot because it's all I think about. When I write my dreams down in the morning sometimes they are so crazy I wonder how I couldn't tell they were dreams ,only last night I was going against a group of rebels to save 'Raymond reddington' from the blacklist 😂 I will keep at it though and hopefully get there again , thanks for your encouragement though , I dont have anybody to tell this stuff to and it helps to get other people's opinions . 😀 |

Your DJ settings are separate from the other settings in the Control Panel. To get to them, click "Dream Journals" at the top of any page. Next, click the "DJ Settings" button on the bar below the DV logo. From there, you can specify who can see/comment on your DJ entries. |
