      Hello new dreamer friends!

      Hi everyone! I’m Somnaea. I used to be an experienced lucid dreamer but lost the ability after going through an extraordinarily stressful period of my life. I’ve recently started doing dream work again in the hopes of recovering the skill. No one else I know is interested in this, so I decided to try joining Dream Views in the hopes that meeting other dreamers and participating in discussions will help me get my motivation back and give me new ideas to try. Lucid dreaming was one of my great joys and I miss it dearly. Looking forward to getting to know you all and lucid dreaming again!

      Hi there Somnaea! I am glad you joined! It is certain that talking about and reading about lucid dreaming is the way to restart things. It is totally normal to move in and out of lucid dreaming abilities. I can go from Master level skills to barely recalling my non-lucids depending on my day time focus and stress level.

      Thanks for the welcome, sivason and HumbleDreamer! So far, being here may already be helping... I had a huge improvement in dream recall this morning, better than I’ve had in a long time.
