Welcome back!! |

It's good to be back. For over 40 years I've been on again, off again regarding the pursuit of lucid dreams. You'll seldom find someone with as much LD knowledge as I have, yet so few lucid dreams. I've had around 40. I have a newfound interest and approach though. I recently took a class on breathing focused meditation and have been doing mindful meditation daily for a couple of months. My dream recall is on track and I look forward to relishing my next LD. I also look forward to learning what I've missed in the last 10 years. |

Hello DivineHand640. You say you are interested in meditation. Do you practice it on a regular basis? And if so what type do you do? Currently I am doing a series of breathing techniques that finish with one called Sudarshan Krya. After that I lay on my back for Shavasana and meditate in one of 2 ways. Usually I do mindful meditation with a focus on my breath when needed to regain lost focus. Secondly I sometimes do analytical meditations where I concentrate on a topic in my life and contemplate it thoroughly until I feel I have thought it thru as far as I can - hopefully to a constructive end. The breathing exercises have proven extremely useful in preparing me for a deeply relaxed yet alert state for meditation. |

Lang - Thank you for the links! Looks like a goldmine of helpful info. Thank you also for the avatar compliment! I did do quite a bit of work to make that happen. (My first and only GIF creation.) |
