Hey everyone, I am new to lucid dreaming, and so far I have working on my dream recall. It is getting to the point where I remember lots of dreams in a given night (I remembered five from last night and wrote them all down), but they are all fairly short and change rapidly. I also have been unable to have the presence of mind to do an RC and discover that I am dreaming. When I think back on the dreams, there were not any obvious things that were impossible, I was just in situations that I could never get into in real life. |

Thanks for the advice everyone, and I had my first LD last night. I realized I was dreaming and did a reality check to confirm. Upon realizing that I was dreaming, I tried spinning to switch my location. This failed, but I was able to change the weather almost at will. I stopped it from raining, and made it sunny. After that I was able to make some snow appear on the ground, but that was about as far as I went. I also tried to fly, and while my jump was a little more floaty than usual, that failed as well. Anyway, it was a pretty good experience, and I guess you have to start somewhere. Does anyone have some advice on how I could begin to fly if I find myself in another LD? Thanks. |

I find a simple jump is enough to get me to try, though of couse it's not for everyone. You could try waving your arms like your swimming, some people do it like that. |
