      Markings on hand

Hey, following my success story posted in my other thread about my first dream earlier this morning. I practiced it as well in school, English class, when I had nothing to be doing (work all done) so i decided I'd practice my relaxation a bit, and not dream.

Well the same ol same ol occurred, with the lights flashing and purple balls floating across my vision. I then relaxed thinking about erasing numbers of the chalkboard.. I know this was a poor environment to be in, but still worked anyways.

Anyways I had my hand on my english binder, and long story short after 30 mins...my hands started to go very very senseless and numb, when this occurred I kept on going until I could not feel my binder beneath my hand.

When i knew i was close to reaching the transition point, I purposely woke up and said hey to my fellow students, I didnt want to be dreaming, afraid I'd make queer or suspicious noises (dream sex with a girl next to me like...haha ) Well...when I flipped over my palm, I noticed red markings...like lines..much like those you get when you get out of bed, Only that these marrkings was shaped like a L...the D was missing

I spent the remaining of the period, wondering how I could have had my hand positioned to make such a symbol on my palm, it was not near the edge of the binder. Is these red markings have anything to do with the senseless/numb sensations, dreaming, or a deep sleep? or is these markings truly a sign of discomfort during sleep like people say?

Well when it comes to having Lucid Dreams, nobody is newer than I am.

How ever when it comes to Self Hyposis i know a little more of wqhat I am talking about.
I can not answer your question about the L markings, but the numbness in your hand I can help you with. In Self Hypnosis people do exactly what you did, though they knew they were doing it. Your mind went into deep thought opening what Self Hypnoisits call "The Minds Eye". In which case your hand went numb and evetually stopped feeling the binder all togethor, possibly becouse you were drowsey and focusing on somthing else. So it is possible you did go into a deep sleep. This is all just opinion of mine. Someone more experinced in Self Hypnoisis would possibly know more about this than I though.

didn't you say you had your hand on your binder.... usually if you put your hand on top of something gravity will pull your hand down so much that you will, actually get imprints of whatever your hand was on... on your hand! crazy huh?
