I had posted this on another board but just deleted it since it wasn't the right board for it.

Maybe this is just because I just read this site last night and finally decided be committed to start lucid dreaming. I've known about lucid dreaming for a while but felt too lazy to try since it takes a while. I guess now I'm not too lazy anymore, lol. I found an old spiral notebook to use for a dream journal and I was able to recall 4 dreams on my first night. I guess based on what I read in the FAQs, that 4 dreams is pretty good for the first night.

However, I was so concentrated on doing this because I guess I am excited about having my first lucid dream and everything, that I woke up this morning at 6:30. I don't have school because it is midterm week and I usually wake up about 9-9:30. I was able to fall back asleep and get a 4th dream in but woke up again at 7:15.

Is this lack of sleep just because it's the first night and I'm thrilled that I'm finally committed to this, or is it something that could happen a lot?
