Just a nOOb looking for some awnsers...

      [size=18]Hey there!

I'm new to this board, and i think that it is a cool thing!
I have only had a few lucid dreams, but not since i was like 5 or 6. In those dreams i could kneel and a wizard/mystic type would apear. When he did, time and all the dream stoped, immediatly i realized this, and knew i had control over my dream. I am having trouble rembering my dreams, when i wake up i think real hard, and it seems as if i have just sleept in the dark, with no dream whatsoever! I tried waking at 3am and rembering then falling asleep again, but to no avail, i still sleep black!

If anyone can help, or refer me to a post I may have missed i would be very appreciative!

      ~Thank You

      First- WELCOME!

Second- Do you keep a dream journal? it would help so much!
Check out the TUTORIALS forum, it will help!

IF you need any more specific help, let me know.

dream recall can be tricky and requires practice. like lowercase alluded to, a dream journal can help. when you awake try to prevent that rush of thoughts that always enters our heads upon waking; instead, just ask yourself what you were just dreaming. then ask yourself what you were dreaming before that, etc. (often reliving your dream backwards can help.)
Each new day is a chance to turn it all around.

Fade from your memory real quick. When you remember your dream in the middle of the night, write it down, then go back to sleep, because when you sleep, you forget your dream usually... I know I do, when i'm to lazy to write it down in weekends

      Welcome to the forum bluedevil.

I hope we can help you work on your lucid dreams and dream recall.

I have trouble remembering dreams sometimes too. Its especially hard to make myself get up in the middle of the night and write them down...

But i guess we all just have to persevere...

      Welcome.

[size=18]Im glad that I had many replies, I started a dream journal and found that 2 dreams poped up very fast. I still have trouble recalling them, but i started performing random Reality Checks. These will help in the long run. I cant wait to start looking forward to sleeping.

Just out of curiosity a freind of mine said somthing about dialing someones number in your sleep? i figure that Lowercase Society
will know somthing about what im talking about, or if anyone else knows...

      Thanks,

[size=18]Thanks for the link, im very busy now, so i have like a 1 week grace period. I have many more dreams in my journal now so the next step is to start dreaming lucid. Im open to suggestions, My dreams havent had any real "failures" as in a light switch not working, or not being able to run. I think that we tend to only rember the dreams that have meaning to us, e.g. a nightmare where were scared witless, or a first date where were left breathless...
