      LD's

Hi i'm new here and i'm new to the knowledge of Lucid Dreaming.
i've never had an intentional LD, but i'm learning.

I have a question, when in a good lucid dream and if you have a good enough dream recall, does a lucid dream actually feel like as i am now (sitting on a computer in reality), just like normal as if you are actually there?

If you've worked on it enough, steer, yes, a lucid dream should feel pretty darn close to reality. You can do it if you try. *nods*

It sounds so good, i can't wait until i can do it.

i have another question too, when i was younger, about 7 or 8, for about a year i used to have a dream every 2 months that was just a regular dream until the end when i would realise i was in a dream and couldn't wake up. the only way i found of getting out of this was to shake my head really fast and then i'd wake up.
would this be classed as lucid dreaming?

Well, technically yes. As long as you knew you were dreaming. But from your description, it didn't seem you had much control. You were trying to wake up (you look like you had FAs) instead of exploring your environment.

i wish i'd known about LDs then! The chances are that if i couldn't wake up easily then i could have immediately started trying things without finding it hard to stay asleep
