      Help?

Well lets see, I started looking through this site about two days ago. Although I had already known about lucid dreaming prior to reading this site but i've always been more interested in trying to astral project which i've come very close to before unknowingly. I've tried to ease into a dream by meditation but that didn't quite work I gave up after 30 minute I was too tired. Then the other night I tried these mp3's you listen to before bed, which might have worked because I had a very weird dream and as has been the past two days I don't remember exactly after I wake up but an hour or so later its like oh yea! Also the past two nights i've had ramen before bed and based on my experience it always gives me veryy weird dreams It seems my only problem is becoming aware during my dreams or performing a reality check but I definately don't have any troubles rembering my dreams. I also tried to WILD this morning but was wayy to tired and drifted off to sleep after about 1 minute of trying to stay concious while letting my body fall asleep. Next course of action?

Are you keeping a dream journal? It should really help boost your dream recall.

When you try to astral project, do you do it when you first go to bed, or in the middle of the night? Generally, WILD and AP meditations work best after a few hours of sleep, and a Wake Back To Bed.

Keep doing your Reality Checks during the day to keep your awareness level up. It is like an excercise to train you to keep dreaming on your mind all day, and stay aware of your surroundings.

Keep paying attention to what you eat before bed. Some people swear by certain foods to help them dream. Generally, they are foods rich in B vitamins and protein. If you have a food that helps you (even if it is just placebo ) stick with it to help train yourself.

Alright i'll start keeping a dream journal, and I do need to do reality checks more often since the only time I do them is when i'm thinking about this or on this website. It seems really difficult to become aware during my dreams because i'm normally so far gone and intwined in it but the RC's shoud help.

      1) reality checking needs to be a habit for it to transfer to dreams. But you also need to do them thoughtfully.

      2) Robot_Butler is right. WHats the point in Lucid Dreaming if you dont remember upon waking! Dream Journal is essential.

      3) dont try so many techniques at once. Pick a reality check AND ONE induction technique. Stick with the ONE technique for a while and move along if after a few goes you make no progress
