      Wierd Experiance

I have to say when I first read the site, I thought it was a bunch of hogwash.

Last night, I attempted lucid dreaming for the first time. I just told myself about 5 times that I would be aware while sleeping until I dozed off.

Suddenly, I "woke up" (I don't know what time it was) but I was in a dream. In the dream, I had awoken in my bed in my living room. I knew I was dreaming because why would I be in bed in my living room!!!! I remember I told myself "ok, but spin around and look at your hands so you don't really wake up!" And I did so. I got this strange violent shaking feeling.

Then I imagined myself flying and I "fell back asleep" (in the dream). And so I was! It was all black, but I could feel the wind against my face and I was ecstatic. I woke up again in the living room (still dreaming) and did this about 2 or 3 more times.

Then I woke up for real in my bedroom. It was 9 AM. (I usually wake up around 7 or 7:30). I was exhausted. I felt like I had stayed up all night.

The experiance was definitely worth it though. I am beginning to believe this is actually possible. I still wouldn't say I was totally in control because I was doing it in a dream within a dream....how wierd huh?

      Anyway, that's my story.

Hey there DT, and welcome to DreamViews!

That's an awesome start, especially for someone who had doubts to begin with. I think it's a sign that with a little work, you could be experiencing awesome lucid dreams in very little time. Keep it up!

good job. I really hope you dont think of this as BS. there is concrete proof and research in this feild by respected scientists. Anyone who knows me knows that I am the most skeptic perosn you will ever meet. I dont beleive in God even. Show me the lab work But lucid Dreaming is real and attainble by everyone. good luck.
