How long should I sleep before waking up to record dreams?

I read what it said on the site, about a sleep cycle being a hundred minutes long, but I'm still not sure how long I should sleep for before waking up to record any dreams I've had.

Thanks for your input, I'm completely new at this,
      -Jonathan.

If you are using the WBTB method, you should sleep 2-3 hours before waking up to record your dreams.

      What does WBTB stand for?
Also, what does WILD stand for, "while in lucid dreaming"?

      Thanks,
      -Jonathan.

WBTB is an acronym for the Wake Back to Bed method. Here is a list of acronyms.

Thank you, the list helped a lot. I didn't think to look in the Tutorial Forum.
