      Still a noob

I've been joined for some months now, but i still feel that my noobism is still showing. I felt one lucid dream once. I close my eyes after a wake in the middle of the night and start to roll over on my side. As i do, i notice that my arm seems to be going through space. I felt my arm as if it had actually moved and i saw it too. The scape was all black and my arm was there as clear as the day. But sadly, it then ended.

i recently bought, played, and beat Kingdom Hearts II. To my pleasure, it was a very fantastic (refering to fantasy) and had a nice air of romance around it. After the game ended, i felt as if part of me was gone. As i lay down to bed i think "God Dammit, i'm never gonna be able to live like that! Never will i feel myself swinging a sword or casting a spell." My thought then quickly searched for a solution. The first thing that popped into my mind was Lucid Dreaming. I would very much appreciate if any of you lucid gurus out there could help me. I would like to live a life of fantasy as well as a life of reality. Why only live half of our lives when we can live in dreams too?

You should try dream incubation. It's when you visualize your choice of dream (scenario, characters, actions, everything) before going to sleep. Concentrate on the visualization - make it as real as possible. Note how the dream makes you feel and pay attention to details. Many people have been able to create their own dream scenarios through dream incubation. It's kinda the same concept if you watch a movie before bed, go to bed thinking about it, and end up dreaming about it.

Once you start having your fantasy-like dreams you can proceed to becoming lucid (you can use most of the fantasy parts of the dream as dreamsigns to attain lucidity). The progress to controlling the LDs. It may take a long time to accomplish all this, but it you're really serious about it, you should do fine. Good luck
