I only get SP as certain. But I found something that works alot for myself personally. Just try the following and see what happens. When you go to sleep, set an alarm for like 5 hours of sleep. When you get up, just go back to sleep, don't try to WILD/WBTB. Why? Becuase your alarm most of the time will you wake you up in the middle of a cycle, which means your body probably will need some time to reset it. Going back to sleep, you'll have a dream or two, and you will wake up again probably about 2 hours later, right after a dream. This is time to try and WILD/WBTB, because you're dead in the middle of REM cycles. Upon waking, if you go back to sleep, you should be within your next dream within minutes, so the sleep paralysis will come on pretty fast. Just stay concious of it. You should still be tried enough that your body will fall asleep. From there, it's alot of fun.
In the end you should get about 7-9 hours of sleep. So no worries about not getting enough sleep even if you fail attempts
