      Yep first post

      Hello all...

Yep its my first post and im finding all this lucid dream stuff amazing as i thought it wasnt possible to the extent ive heard. Ive had only 1 lucid dream and that was years before i found this site. It consisted of me being on a flat plain of marble which was infinite and the sky was pink with massive clouds but im not here to waste ever ones time... ever since ive read the stuff on this site ive found that every night ive remembered at least 1 or 2 dreams. So i have some questions:

      1. Is there anything that i can eat which can help me remember dreams/ induce dreams?

      2. How many hours sleep do i need and under what conditions (like if

Hopefully i havent wasted your time if these questions are too obvious

welcome! i recommend trying to get at least eight hours of sleep...but the more you get, the higher the chances of recalling dreams and having lucids (each successive REM period increases in length so that the last few hours of sleep include the longest and most vivid dreams). as for diet, i'm not sure anyone knows with real certainty what is important. B6 seems to be important, but i personally don't think taking a supplement does anything unless you are deficient--i think as long as your diet is healthy and balanced you shouldn't worry about it. the most important thing is training yourself to recognize things that you normally accept without scrutiny. there's a bunch of info on here and a lot of helpful people, so if you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask!

      Hey Canman -

Yep, B6 has been pretty much a basic supplement which could help enhance your recall (and dream vividness). B6 is needed in for the production of neurotransmitters (serotonin and dopamine).

While we don't advocate nor endorse the use of any drugs or supplements here on the site, I use B6 and B-Complex personally and have noticed some differences. If you're a young fit dude you may not need as much - in my opinion I think anywhere between 50-100mg is a safe place to start. I've read that it becomes toxic at 2000mg, but I wouldn't recommend going anywhere beyond 500mg.

Definitely read up on it either here (serach button above) or internet to learn specifics. As always, it's best to run any sort of new supplement or drug intake by your physician first.

Here is a link to a thread of my own experiences with B6 -->LD Cocktail
