      I'm Trying!

Alright, I found the site last night, and read everything I could. I got on the message boards and read about everyone's experiences so I really wanted to try it myself.

So I was going to sleep saying to myself, "I'm going to have a lucid dream and I'm going to be in control of it."

But in my dreams, I cant remember everything now sadly even as I think about it I cant remember but 1 part, and thats because I didn't write it down.

When I would wake in the night I knew right away that it didnt work its like I knew I was trying to in my dream, because I even thought about the site in one of my dreams.

I even tried spinning in my dream when I started to wake up, I think it may have worked, if not I had just woke up and fell asleep just as fast.

Any tips? or is this just the start to being in control and having lucid dreams?

Hey there and welcome to the forum!
Did you read the tutorials at all? They can assist you in your quest to LD. Also, keeping a Dream Journal at all times will really help boost your recall. If you have to, you might consider waking yourself up in the middle of a LD so you can write it down.

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask!

I know you're all excited and everything, but don't try too hard. Just concentrate on your recall for now, get that up. You need to be remembering at least two dreams a night.
Also, like nesgirl said, read the tutorials!

Opps no sorry I have not read the tutorials, and yeah I'm excited lol, the problem is when I wake up I'm not fully functional, I guess I'll try tonight.

I can remember some dreams I've had in the past, I'll check the tutorials and post back later.

      Thanks for replying!

Alright so after another night after reading the tutorials I just let myself dream and I wrote down what I could remember. I had about 4 dreams, I always remember certain parts of some of my dreams. Theres parts I remember seeing but I can't really explain and I dont remember enough to write it down.

I was almost able to see that I was dreaming because I was looking at the light up signs on top of stores. But somehow I changed it myself on purpose, and I tried looking back at them after I changed it myself. Somehow I used a keyboard and changed what it said lol.

Sounds like you're off to a good start -- just stay at it. Results usually don't come immediately. I had to work for at least two weeks before I had any real results. Just stick with it, and have a positive attitude, and you will achieve your goals.
