Thread: hi everyone

Hey, im new to this forum, found it half accidentally by googling the net for lucid dreaming. Glad it came up in the first few results

Im 16 and live in belgium. by nationality im estonian, thats also my first language. Im relatively new to the experience of lucid dreaming, my onliest lucid dream (that i remember) being 2 nights ago. First time i heard the phrase lucid dream was about a year ago and at that time i did a lot of research on it which i gladly still remember. I tried to have lucid dreams then for a short while, but without success got carried away and stopped practicing.

Recently i became interested again and tried inducing a dream by counting numbers, which worked kind-of on the 2nd night (the lucid dream wasnt directly due to number counting). I think believeing in oneself is of far greater importance than the method used, for acheiveing lucid dreaming.

My goal in lucid dreaming would be trying to meditate in the dream and see what happens.
