      Hello everyone. I almost got it!

      I am trying to get lucid dreams for just about 2 nights. Last night i woke up after about 6 hours of sleep so i decided to try the MILD technique. First of all I started to say to myself that i would realize that i am dreaming, after some time I saw something like me myself entering in the dream, i had a strange feeling and then suddenly i woke up. I tried again but this time i went straight to sleep, this time i had another dream in which i saw sun shinning brightly in the middle of night. I said to myself in the dream why is the sun shinning but never realized that i was dreaming! When i woke up I clearly remembered the dream and could not believe why i did not realize that it was a dream even after saying to myself that why is the sun shinning in the night. I think that that was really close. I never remembered any dreams before but a remembered all me dreams since trying to induce lucid dreams. Please tell me what should i do to really induce lucid dreams. Thanks

      Hi 2004, welcome to the forum!

      I think you're already on the right track. You tried the MILD technique and appear to have gotten yourself right at the dream's doorstep. Unfortunately, you woke yourself up after experiencing that "strange feeling". You've also succeeded in recalling your dream where you said you normally don't remember them.

      My advice is to simply keep practicing what you're doing. You'll start to get used to that
      "strange feeling" and recognize what lucidity feels like. When you do, you won't get as excited and wake yourself up. You'll be able to go on to the next step which is learning how to extend your lucidity time.

      don't wory about it man,i have really strange dreams all the time,i see a monster eating a bunnys head,and i say hello,the monster says hello and i go my way,or some whore is trying to give a blow job to a pope,and i walk by,so don't wory
