ok so i read all about lucid dreams last night, all in the space of a bout 2 hours

so i was pretty tired anyway and went to bed at like 8 pm, then all of a sudden i find myself in front of my computer on google, the reason i knew i was dreaming was because i knew i was in bed, i remembered going to sleep.. so is that lucid or not? i did not do any reality checks, how ever everything was strobey, i could tell it was going to end so i yelled stabalise like 3 times but i stood up out of my chair and it ended

i woke up and wrote a few key words down then went back to sleep, now this second was was weirder, i sort of did the FILD technique and i woke up on the couch, now the reason i knew i was lucid again was because i remembered going to sleep.. but it was really weird this time, i could feel my eyes being closed but i could still see, i held my nose and breathed in and i could breath in, my eyes still felt as if they were closed but i could still see so i felt around my fingers and i had 6 finger tips, so naturally i knew was dreaming, i got up off the couch and walked a few steps in my living room, it felt like my eyes were closing down real hard it was hard to get a real clear picture of what was in front of me, like you know when u wake up early in the morning and your eyes are still stuck together thats what i felt like.. anyway one of my school mates appeared in my living room and he said something like "now that u know ur dreaming what are u gonna do?", i said "i dont know" and i tried to float i remember reading sum1's post on here saying u should feel your self being lighter, i tried but i didnt work and i got the feeling that my dream was about to end again, so i started spinning around and i ended up in my bedroom again and i nearly fell over from spinning around, after that i cant remember what happened...

the thing is i want to know..

      - Was those lucid dreams?
      - Is it possible to go lucid only after reading and learning about lucid and techniques that night?
      - how can i keep the dream going, get a clear view with eye sight and do what i want
      - the feeling was really weird!!

Lucidity is knowing that you are dreaming, so to answer your first question, yes that was lucid dreaming.

You can go lucid any time you go to sleep, regardless of what reading and/or learning you've done before you sleep, but reading about LDing before you sleep will help to induce LD's as you will go to sleep with it on your mind.

The best way of being able to do what you want is to believe that you can. Your expectations will pretty much always come true in dreams. I'm not sure about the eyesight thing though, as I've never experienced this before.

      Good luck

First off, welcome to the forum.

And congratulations, that was an LD. I found my first lucid dream came about almost exactly the same way as yours - I had been reading about lucid dreaming and went to bed a few hours later. I expect it was still simmering over in my mind when it happened. So:

      - Was those lucid dreams?[/b]
      Yes.

      - Is it possible to go lucid only after reading and learning about lucid and techniques that night?[/b]
Defintely, I'm pretty sure that a lot of people have their first LDs the same way. Children have lucid dreams without ever reading about them, there is no set method. Some people can just do it.

      - how can i keep the dream going, get a clear view with eye sight and do what i want[/b]
This is a much more open ended question. There's an entire forum category devoted to dream control, and it tends to be a slippery thing - if you get unsure of yourself, like badassbob says, you can soon lose control of the dream - and there's a million other ways to lose it. But looking at your hands/tactile sensation helps some people. All the confidence you can get helps too. It's best to find your own method that works. Some people would be really happy to get an LD first 'try', so I wouldn't be too disheartened by it.

      - the feeling was really weird!![/b]
Yeah, first time you do it can feel pretty weird (and pretty exciting at the same time). That's to say nothing of the other feelings and strangeness you can go through in a lucid dream.

You'll probably take to it like a fish to water, though.

Yes, you are such a freak! Just kidding.

Well, Kaniaz and all have answered your questions, except for..

What I want to know is:
      [...]
      - the feeling was really weird!!

Do you want to know that? Ok. The feeling was really weird! I hope I helped. ¬_¬

i had this really weird feeling, like i could see the dream and what i was doing, but i had the sensation that my eyes were closed, it sorta felt like i had transparent eyelids, and i had my eyes closed, i could see but it felt like i had my eyes closed

then i had really heavy eyelids walking around in my dream, like the feeling like i had just woken up, hard to open my eyes sort of squinting

      anyone had this?

yea, not a freak, my story finding this site is weird, i actually had a lucid dream, then searched the internet to learn more about what happened to me cause it was so weird, and i couldn't do it again, so i found this site.
as i was falling asleep last night, i said to myself, i will remember my dream, i will know i'm lucid, i will know i'm lucid, i will know i'm lucid. then i saw dinosaurs running at me and i said, "Holy Crap! i wish i was dreaming!"
