I can't say I'm the best at introducing myself, as I am quite a shy person, but I'll try the best I can. My name is Brian, I'm fifteen, and I live in British Columbia of Canada. (Yes, I am Canadian) I suppose I could describe myself as a studious teenager who isn't a great athlete at all. In fact, I daresay I barely got a B in PE last year. I like a lot of things, such as video games, movies, and books, but also dislike a lot of things, such as skateboarding, what's "hot" at school, and when people say "kewl".
I've heard about lucid dreaming about a month ago, and decided to take a shot at it four days ago. I'm developing on my dream recall, and I really can't complain, because the journey is as fun as the objective, you know? Typically, I remember about half a dream every night, though I'm not sure if I'm doing well or not. I guess everyone has their own pace at everything. I realize I've still a long ways to go, but I guess patience can be rewarding.
I'll try to visit on a regular basis, but school's starting for me in a week. I can't wait for my computers class, but I'm going to miss the free time. I hope that I'll have a great time on this message board!
P.S.: What I don't quite understand is why, even though I lay in my bed for what seems to me like hours, I don't feel like I'm falling asleep at all. When does sleep begin to take place? Is it as soon as you lie down on your bed, or as soon as you desire to sleep, or what?
