Two days ago, on Sunday 9/10/06, I registered here. I did so because I needed some help on dream journalkeeping practice: I fear waking up in the middle of the night to record in a dream journal because it takes me a long time to fall asleep. Once I am asleep, it's easy to stay asleep, but every night I take at least one hour to doze off.
So I came here with the intent of asking about techniques on how to go to sleep faster, but the forum rules stated that I had to wait before my account was approved by staff, so I turned off the PC and went to bed.
That very night, when I fell asleep, I had a lucid dream. Right there. That very night. The very night that I registered on this forum. Needless to say, I was amazed.
What more, it turned out that my sleeping difficulties were actually just a problem with my biological clock. Now that I have to wake up at 6 every morning, my clock has been fixed.
So, now, is this a good time to further develop my lucid dreaming skills? Or is it better to hold back still and enlarge my dream journal? (I had just recently discovered this site and only have two entries in the journal! One was an ordinary one and the other was my lucid dream.) This is also not the first time I've had a lucid dream: I've had two before in my life--once at about age 7 and another at about age 13. (Right now I'm 15.) I'm also pretty good at remembering dreams: I just have to have the will to and I seem to be able to automatically remember one about every other night.
