Oh, yeah. I'm not usually inclined to have naps for some reason, but the one time I did I a) didn't have a lucid (wait... I haven't had any lucids yet ) and b) made my night-time sleep harder !

EDIT: Oh yah, one question. Is it possible to just do a WILD right at the beginning of your 8-hour night sleep and still get decent lucid dream time?

I think it's almost impossible to do this. I think someone may have mentioned it further up, but in order to do a WILD effectively you need to be close to a REM cycle. When you first lay down in your bed to go to sleep, that's exactly what you do. In order to have a sucessful WILD, you need to have gone through one full sleep cycle, with the periods of REM. By waking up five or six hours into sleep, you'll have gone through this period, and be closer to the next one.
