More sleep = longer REM cycle = longer dreams = more content to recal. Pick out a couple days in which you have absolutely nothing to do but sleep in and try going to bed early the day before.

Recall techniques: I always recommend the same thing - try waking up without an alarm. Waking up to an alarm disrupts your natural dream cycle. Sometimes it's helpful because you MIGHT catch yourself in the middle of a dream. But then, you have to shift your focus off what you were just dreaming about to turn the alarm off. Besides, dreams our precious - why would you want to interrupt them?
