Hey everyone. I'm Mike, and I found this site through Google while searching for some sites that may explain the odd dream I've had. I very rarely remember my dreams, and when I do, they're very odd dreams, so they tend to confuse me.

Hi mike. As far as a question...im not sure you had one in there , but if you asked im sure theres people here who can help.

In my experience, all dreams are odd But if you want help remembering your dreams, start a dream journal. When you wake up from a dream, or in the morning, write whatevery ou can remember down from any dreams you've had. Also if you forget a dream, sometimes events during the day can trigger a memory from it and help you remember.

There are many theories on what dreams mean, (even a forum here on this site to help translate dreams AND books that im sure you can find at any local bookstore), but im not much for that stuff. I think dreams can be as random as they seem, but can also be your subconcious acting out thoughts or worries that are on your mind.

      hope ive helped

Hey Mike. . . Welcome to the board. I don't have anything useful to say . . . I just like to see my name in writing. Good luck and I hope you find what you are looking for here.

      Hi, welcome to the board!

I recommend you read Stephen Laberge's 'Exploring the World of Lucid dreaming' he has a great chapter on improving recall in there.

If you don't have that, the main thing to do when you go to sleep is to tell yourself you are going to remember your dreams. Do you keep a dream journal?

Oh, and like the other guy said, all dreams are odd! Odd dreams are good, because it can help you to realise you are dreaming more easily, and therefore go lucid.
But there, i'm jumping ahead of myself.

If you haven't written any dreams down, start on it in the morning. you'll be pleasantly surprised at how your recall improves in a couple of weeks!

If you have any more questions, feel free to PM me, or ask another Dreamguide (the ones with green stars)
