I suffer from Insomnia (havent been to docter for it) but i know because my parents have it and i find it hard to get to sleep, sometimes it takes up to 3 hours and i dont usually get much sleep anyway.

Yet i want to try Lucid Dreaming. I find it hard to relax for even a second, is there any other ways to lucid dream?

Well lucid dreaming pretty much requires that you get some sleep every night... so if you can't sleep you might want to see a doctor. I would suggest WILD but if you can't stay still that might be impossible.
      Good luck!

      yea, definetly see a doctor

and try to avoid insomnia medication, they are known to suppress REM sleep

also, try lookin into melatonin. It can be bought at a pharmacy wihtout a perscription. It is the chemical your body makes naturally due to the lack of lights. This supplement just gives you a boost of it and will probably help you get to sleep. It has worked for me.
*note*^ the above comment was not meant to be hurtful, nor insulting. It is just another of my cynnical observations of fact. If you happened to be offended by my logic, too bad.

      one pill makes you larger
      one pill makes you small
and the pill that your mother gave you
      doesn't do anything at all
      go ask alice,
      when shes ten feet tall

When they come for me i'll be sitting at my desk with a gun in my hand wearin a bullet proof vest
singin my my my how the time does fly when yo know your gonna die by the end of the night

      Hello And Welcome Oz91

IN the Tutorials I have written a tutorial: Sleeping Disorders. There is some information and some helpful links that may be able to help you get that issue under control.
Then we can have fun with some lucid dreaming!

Yes, read through the tutorial, it's quite good...

I suggest you do try to find a solution before continuing further with trying to LD, you likely won't have much success otherwise.

I have pretty bad insomnia myself. It comes and goes thankfully so I don't have to deal with it every night. I know some people have suggested that you not attempt lucid dreaming until you are able to get your insomnia under control, but I find that lucid dream induction techniques actually help me to fall asleep faster. . . might not have the same effect on your insomnia. . . but if you're just gonna be lying there for 3 hours anyway. . . it's worth a shot.

I tried some program called Brainwave generator and used the Schumann resonance since it said it can be used to help sleep and some lucid dreaming (i think), then i went to bed and then after about an hour and a half i was hallocinating and stuff. I knew i was going into something, i found my whole body was having a feeling of floating then all of a sudden out of know where i just Woke up and jumped out of my bed, i cant recall anything else but it said somewhere this way was the easiest to do. But i didnt get very far, i didnt even feel all that tired either
