Hello, I am new here and i am glad that I found this forum because when i was little i used to have lucid dreams a lot but for some reason i stopped having them. I cant really remember any of them very much, but there was one that felt so real that i thought i wouldn't be able to wake up from it. It happened when i was about 9 or 10. I had just started the dream as me going to visit my dad and he was driving us some were and he asked me were i wanted to eat.I pointed at a place that was on the rode beside a bridge and instead of him crossing the bridge he just drove off a cliff. I Realized I was dreaming when i noticed nothing had happened to the car and I didn't get hurt at all. Then all this stuff started to happen like when we were going to his house we just appeared in a apartment building and my brother and my dad both just jumped off of the railing of a really high building. I was kinda freaked out even though i knew i was dreaming so i closed my eyes and appeared in my moms house. Then all these weird people started coming in and pushed me around wile they were going up to random people and killing them. I ran up to my room and tried to wake up but it wasn't working. Finally i decided maybe if I fell asleep in my dream i would wake up in reality so I got in my bed and fell asleep and right then i woke up on real life.Now that i have found out that you can control them while your having them I've decided to join this forum hoping i will be able to start having them again.

Welcome man! Funny, I also think I was able to have lucid dreams when I was like around 10. I have alot of dreams I remember from back then, they felt alot clearer then what my current dreams do. Perhaps this is a common thing? Anyway, I'm new here too. Man is there alot of reading to do in here!

Welcome to the forum, Weight of the World! This is definitely the right place to learn more about LDing. If you haven't checked out the tutorials yet, that would be a great place to start. Welcome! I've had many LD when I was a child. It wasn't all fields of roses though, most of them had to do with a killer telling me if I didn't wake up he'd slit my throat. Heh... but happy thoughts!
