      Hi,

I've been practicing lucid dreaming since Spring or so and I joined this forum to learn more and discuss, and maybe make a Dream Journal(if I have the time). So far I have a lucid dream at least one every two nights, but they don't last very long, so I want to get more advice on improving. I'm a member of the furry fandom and I like the art and the people and stuff. But I hope to expand my potential of my already improving ability. I've always been able to LD as a child but over time as I got older I lost it, but now I hope to master it again.

      See ya!

Hi Apotheosis! I'm glad you found the forum - it's great, even for people who have LDs naturally, like you. There's always room for improvement, right?

If you haven't already, you should check out the tutorials. There's a lot of good info available there.

And I'd STRONGLY recommened keeping a dream journal. It will really be your most important tool to advancement in LDing. It will increase your recall - which, what's the point having LDs if you can't remember them later?? It will also help you recognize your common dreamsigns which will make you more aware during dreaming. You can utilize DV's Dream Journal, but I'd suggest keeping a back up somewhere else on your computer.

Please let us know if you have any questions. Good luck and have fun!

Hey there, and welcome! I see that you're in Las Vegas -- that's not far from me, and I'll be visiting my sister there just after Christmas.

That's great that you can LD several times a week -- I dare say that you're doing better than most of us in that respect. And don't worry about the length. You'll find some tips in here on how to help prolong or stabilize them, but in my experience they just don't last too long -- I believe the longest I've had was maybe 15 minutes or so.

Welcome! That's an impressive natural knack you have. I second Burns' recommendation of starting a dream journal, it'll help you improve. And at the rate you're going it sounds like you won't run short of material for it, either Good luck!
