Yes thousands of users over the span of many years have congregated here and advocated to keep the greatest hoax ever known alive.

"Let us make up these experiences," one says.

"Yes, then the gullible cattle of the populace will be in our hands!" laughs another.

"Come, look at that icedawg fella' over there, let us crown him as ruler and pull the strings from behind!"

And so it came to pass that Icedawg was overshadowed by the Lucid Dreaming Illuminati (LDI), manipulating it's members with false hopes of incredible experiences and those that are unlike anything in the world. Seeker is now the current head of this Illuminati.

Oh god.. I've said too much -is overtaken by men in black suits, vanishing, never to be seen again-

Well you said you already had a Lucid Dream, good for you i havent had one yet and i have been trying for half a year and yet i have not given up. It Strongly depends on your MIND. To some people, it happens all the time to others it will only happen very rarely.

It aint a hoax, because i have several friends who have had LD's before, its just you.

Yes, I think there are people who have a natural talent for it, just like a talent in singing, drawing, etc.... and others of us have to practice at it. I have been practicing but haven't had any luck but I will say that my dream recall has increased and I've had some pretty crazy "normal" (unlucid)(is that a word? ) dreams just from becoming more aware and after reading some the crazy experiences that people post on DV!! Don't give up!

Oh kno, he knows of our conspiracy! We must dispose of him...

I've been having LDs since I was a little girl. Some people are "naturals" at it, like how some people pick up a musical insturment better than others, while others have to work at it. Like the garage band that never gets anywhere.

Dont give up my dear! it'll come eventually. if you were giving up, would you have made a post about giving up? you're asking for help! so just keep trying, scan the forum for influence LDs.. FILD, WILD, DILD..s .. etc. something should help you, even if it takes awhile. keep trying.. and to all those who didnt take Radical seriously... I AM RULER!!! BOW DOWN TO ME, DESCIPLES! I AM TAKING OVER! *takes out AK47/ bazooka and blows off a few rounds, causing fireworks!*

      I've been there.

I didn't know anyone in real life that had had LDs. All I had to go on was this board. After trying for a time with no results I began to think it was all just a hoax too. Just people trying to outdo each other with their storytelling.

That night I had my first LD.

And since then I have had many wonderful LDs.

Stick with it. Follow the good advice everyone is giving. You'll get there.

Sorry, I think freefire and I were offended by someone saying our hobby is a hoax. (though really I can only speak for myself)

Truth time though, I haven't had a lucid dream in longer than four months. It may have been a year. I think what your experiencing over all Radical is boredom. I can certainly relate to that.

But if you want lucids, and in an abundance, you have to stick with us because it -will- come to those who persevere. I had it when I was active in my lucid walk, and it is still imprinted in my head as an amazing time. Thus, I am back here trying to get it again.

My advice to you is to make a thread underlying everything you do to get a Lucid dream, and ask for advice on how to improve. With the method right for you under your belt, all dream feats are possible.
