I want to know if anyone has had any practice with pk in lucid dreams and if it has helped them in the "real" world. Anyone???

      Welcome to Dreamviews!

We have quite a few people who practice PK. You can ask about it, or comment on it in our
      Beyond Dreaming Forum.

      Welcome to Dream Views!

Sorry I really don't have any experience in that area. So, as Exo said, head on over to that forum.

In answer to your question: Yes, we do have a few people who stare at objects and expect them to move. We've even got some even more... uhh... ?enthusiastic? ...people who stare at stuff and try to get it to set itself on fire.

Now, no need for debate ^-^
I personally believe in it, but silly insults won't convince anyone, right?
      =)

      I think..
that it would be harder to improve upon PK by simply practicing it
in the dream world, like some people can do with sports and such,
because it's one of those things that occur much more easily in dreams than in reality..
But, there are things you could try from within the dream to open
up your mind. Different mediations and stuff.

You have the right to feel that way, but you do not have the right to break the rules here. Membership at DreamViews is a privilege, and personal attacks will not be tolerated. Since you apparently did not attack or insult a specific member, I don't believe this particular case is a violation, but please try to keep things civil.

And FWIW, I think you're way off. Insulting people doesn't get your point across, it just makes it look as if you don't have any valid arguments to present.

Before you try and "make your point" again, I feel obligated to say this is a friendly community. We have extremely low tolerance for flamers and spammers. Even our most well known and respected members get the boot if they don't show the respect they should. So, I would strongly recommend rethinking your way of "getting your point across."

Yes... I'm sure an insult gets a point across rather than brandishing a new argument altogether... O.o

In my experience it seems like everybody has something they are good at, for me its levitation. Some people can shrink or get bigger, I have never done that. I can move objects pretty easily, but not as commonly as I levitate or fly. The coolest thing I did was summon a storm, but then the storm scared the crap out of me and I woke up. =)

^ I thought you were talking about RL for a moment there! I'm like: "Yeah... I believe in qi energy... but that's just crazytalk."

But no, I haven't used dreams to practice PK, although I use boring class periods to attempt to create psyballs. They sometimes work, too, and I get all excited but can't do anything or tell anyone right then and by the time I'm out of the period... *sigh* I forget.

EDIT: Oh! Actually I lied. I moved rocks in my dream before, and it was cool. I had a whole cave full of rock furniture, and could move them very easily.

well first off.. i dont understand half of you cuz i swear you talk in code or some SHIT. and I think its really lame if you cant handle a good argument.. u guys need to chill. ur acting like im going to start a war if I start arguing the way i do.. dude, its just a forum and rules were made to be broken anyway..if i went by all of societies rules i wouldnt be a pk..... also, as a pk (which i am.) Ive PROBABLY done alot more thinking and studieing of the mind than you have so just make sure you think before you speak to me.
like i said, ive had an acount on this site before so i know how it works... and it seems like its gotten really stiff around here lol seriously the responses some of you guys made were out of pure hate for me lol. just chillax. let things work themselves out. if you have to kick someone out for being human than i'd rather not be here. im gonna say what i want.. and thats just how it is. and i usually have alot to say so deal with it.

      Hi,
If you brake rules, then you must face the consequences. I disagree, I think that the rules are there to be folowed, sadly not folowing rules is one of the things that make this world the way it is, if not for you, then for thousands of other people.
Sadly I can't do telekineis, (yet?)...

There's a big difference between healthy debating and outright insulting people...

Do you even read what you're writing? You say you've done a lot more thinking and studying the mind than we have, you're not dazzling us. I certainly don't believe you, I don't detect any deeper insight into the mind, all I've read so far is one or two posts with not particularly creative or effective insults.

I do agree with you when it comes to the amount of people replying to this thread, acting like you're going to start some kind of war though, it's not necessary.
Some people won't stop doing something no matter how much you try talking to them about it, especially since this is the Internet we're talking about, and you come off as someone who believes they're some kind of rebellious spirit, going against the grain of what society dictates and all that crap. Telling you what to do would probably only give you a hard on as you disobeyed.
These are the tears that I dream about...

I've often done Telekinesis in my LD's it's pretty much a part of my dream just like the scenerio it's habitual. Sorry I've never practiced in the real world but it sure rocks in Lucid Dreaming. I did encounter something very odd on several occassions. For instance I can easily will doors and windows to open and tossing something around like furniture is childs play, but I had an LD when I tried to Will a Car to hover about 20 feet in the Air and it was very heavy as if I was actually picking it up.
