You can check out the adoption program if you wish to talk or ask for help with lucid dreams, or ask any one of the Dream Guides if you have any questions. Thanks for the warm welcome.

I know I am in the right place. I would like to start off with a little info. about myself.

I am 37 years old and live in Arizona.

I started learning about dreams and dreaming about 6 years or so ago. I lived in neighborhood that had become very bad in gangs, drugs and violence. I began having dreadful nightmares almost all night everynight. I felt like I didnt get any sleep when I woke up. During this time, I worked a few hours in the morning and a few hours in the afternoon, which was good because I came home and tried to sleep during the day because I felt so exhausted.

This went on for several months and one day I passed the television when I heard " up next how to control your dreams." I dropped the laundry in the middle of the floor and sat on the couch to listen to them. It was about the book Creative Dreaming. I listened to them, then immediately packed the babies into the car and off to the library we went. I found the book, read it, re read it and took a lot of notes before returning it. I had set my self on a path to make the nightmares stop. After a few sleepless nights (because I was so excited now it had become hard to fall asleep lol) the dreams started to return. I found myself remembering them first 1 a night then 2 or more as the time went on. I had pen and paper next to the bed for notes for a journal, but that didnt work to well as I would fall back asleep writing. I left it in the bathroom after that and when I woke I would go in there stand at the sink..awake.. and jot a few simple notes down. Now I have about 7 complete hand written journals of dreams. I am very proud of them too!

After leaning a few things from the first book, I gained some sort of control with them. I learned to fight off what use to scare me. After seeing myself become so confident in my dream world, my real world began to change as well. It was (is) very strange to this day all of the changes dreams have made in my life.

I followed this for about 3 years straight with journal entries. After the nightmares stopped I read back upon the dreams that I had. I began wondering what they meant so I tried to figure them out. ( Dont think I ever really did but there were alot of things that were repeating in my dreams I noticed.) Anyway I ended back at the library reading anything and everything to do with dreams, which is where I truly learned of Lucid Dreams. This is what I seeked for the following years yet they never came. I was sad and I thought that maybe only certain people can do it and I gave up.

I left dream chasing about 3 almost 4 years ago but now with finding this site and all of these dreamers, I am hoping to be back on the path soon.

I am going to take a better look around here today or later tonight. I just want to say who ever started this site with forums and everything else here, and the members who are willing to share with everyone else, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
