That's sort of the general idea, yeah. The basic goal is to use mnemonical and autosuggestive devices to try and program your mind into becoming lucid. ONE way is by telling yourself that you will see a dreamsign, recognise it, RC and become lucid - for instance, doing what you described and visualising yourself becoming lucid in the dream you just had. Another way is to use similar mnemonic/autosuggestive devices, like just thinking to yourself "I will watch out for strange things that happen, and recognise them as signs that I'm in a dream", OR "I will remember to ask a DC if I am in a dream". Basically, any way you can think of to program yourself into RCing and generally recognising that you are dreaming. |
