      my first wild!

well... i actually managed to achieve a WILD last night after about an hour of attempting it lol . but after a couple of seconds of it happening to me i got got freaked out by a *dream-scream*- and i lost i . but i think it was a combination of the things that i was seeing and the scream, and being the total newbie that i am i got scared is it natural to be afraid of such things? if so, is there a way i can overcome it?

      wild

tried the wild this morning, got to a point where i was in sleep paralasys(not spelled right probably) but could never really get past that part.. My body was entirely gone but my mind was very awake, and i was just laying there, and it was soo uncomfortable after a while i just had to try and move which took a while, and when I finally rolled over, was immediately gone, and woke up 3 hrs later, couldn't remember shit. but at least thats the first time I felt SP. any tips guys??

Um...well it seems as if you are getting close, with the sleep paralysis and all. It is important to just keep trying and trying...Trial and ERROR.

Anyway...you have a good foundation to build on, man...just keep us posted with any more questions.

It reminded me of that bit I wrote where a newb had a question and we all just answered nonesense...

      Back to serious matters:

There are things that might scare you when you are WILDing, images becoming reality and all. I know it is hard but the best thing you can do is try to ignore them and look past them for more. Remember it isn't real, nothing should physically hurt you. Try to keep this in mind and understand it is part of the process involved in passing from the waking world to the dreamstate....

Oh, and in case I haven't before, WELCOME!!!!!!!!!!
      If I hadn't made me
I'd be more inclined to bow
Powers that be would have swallowed me up
But that's more than I can allow...

I got pretty close to WILD as well, my body was paralyzed and I started hearing things and I saw like a cloud of electricity. But then I started thinking about something else and it went away. Next time I tried again, i got nothing but I did see some flashes of color on the sides of my eye.

BTW I wonder if this is normal, my eyes move like crazy side to side and I my heartbeat feels so strong that it seems to be beating my whole body. And when i take a deep breath my whole body seems to tingle.

i never felt the tingling, but once in a while i catch my eyes moving for some reason, and i do often feel my heartbeat as if it is stronger than normal

Do you "see" dark clouds which seem to be sinking inward. I'm going to try waking up early and then trying to keep my logic mind open. I think that is the only way i can become lucid.

I was really freaked out when my eyes kept moving, as if I was having a tantrum or something. lol

i think thats called hypnogogic imagery, i might be wrong though, but everybody sees that. when you go into a wild you feel vibrations and then you feel your body go paralyzed, then you start to see shapes form that are a lot more real than the swirling stuff you see when you just close your eyes.
