Dreams tend to be just as real as real can be. There are just a few phenomena that can, how shall I say, confuse the experience. For example, the actual events of the dream change very much with even slight changes in personal emotion. Also, there is the third-person "movie" type dream, where one isn't actually viewing things from their own dream-body.
All the senses are there in full power, and you can feel things in dreams you can't in real life. The fuzziness only comes with normal dreams. If you've never had an LD, trust me, anything's possible.
BTW, great job on the dream recall! Be happy it's coming so naturally to you.
