Hi my name is Steve and I'm from New Jersey.

I used to be really into Lucid Dreaming when I was younger, mostly in my teens. I still do it every once and a while but I haven't practiced it on a regular basis in a while. I have a profound dream every once and a while. I know they're profound because they stay with me for a while when I wake, but I don't journal them or anything...

I originally taught myself to do it to combat nightmares. I guess the thing that caught my attention in my dreams was that nothing would die. Like for instance if I saw a spider or something and I went to step on it, it wouldn't die. Pretty soon I could make them go away.

I've kind of done it all. I used to be pretty good at sustaining the conscious state in a dream. I used to be able to change my clothes with a thought, go anywhere, any period of time, the whole 9 yards. That was all well and good but for the most part I preferred to try and find meaning in where I was and what was going on around me.

Lately I found that I don't really remember the bulk of my dreams. I think job stress and other things in my life have interrupted much of it, but I'd like to make an effort to get back to what I had.

well good to meet you all and I look forward to reading everyone's posts. I hope to really learn a lot.
