      recall sucks

Still cant remember anything since the last one I posted, and I think that was like a week or 2 ago. Been doing everything I can to remember, have the journal but have nothing to write in it. I have vitamins and melatonin, none of that has worked, it helped other people in my apartment, but not me. Could I take a higher dose?? I have a pretty high tolerance for drugs and such.. been waking up in the middle of the night to try and remember dreams, nada. almost induced a wild the other morning, but couldn't get past SP, which was crazy... I WANNA REMEMBER!!!

Do you wake up and your mind is blank ? completely blank not a single clue to expand on ? or do you dream 'blackness' do you battle to sleep at night ? taking long periods to sleep or your mind is racing ahead. You could try a higher dosage of whatever you are taking or try and do some exercise or both... also try not to watch t.v. or use the pc for like 1 hour before sleep time, herbal tea i found used to work and no visual stimulation for an 1 hour also seemed to do that trick... lately i have been using the mac alot more and my drinking has increased, last 3 nights my recall has been extremely fragmented.

Also check your daily routines, small things i find can seriously hinder recall.
If all is sphere then why all the lines?

      recall

totally blank, no recall, got nothing most of the time, no matter when I wake up. I'll try a higher dosage, but isn't more than 100mg of b-6 bad?? or only if taken more than twice a week? heard 1gram was bad. also heard have to develop a lot better recall before experimenting with supplements, but I think i need all the help i can get.. i also cant fall asleep at night, just lay there for at least an hour usually... any advice

meditation, a night-walk, excersize, concentrating on the blackness when im trying to fall asleep. i gotta admit that a few days after i started all of this lucid dreaming, my insomnia completely disappeared. falling asleep is not a time to solve all of your day-time problems, or get anxiety over tomorrow's events, thats what used to keep me awake at night

      Remeber nature also has B6 aswell as a host of other vitamins. Carrots and all that. So long as you dont eat 40 carrots you shouldnt turn orange (;

And seriously no tech stuff before bed, read a book or solve a puzzle... make that brain slow down... sometimes i will stay awake for hours but my lifestyle and food habits are reflective of this.

What I do is after I'm all comfortable in my bed... I say the words "I will remember my dream" and I visulize (with my eyes closed) the words in 3D text in front of me. I do that a couple of time so that it enters my subconscience. Then, I start thhe 61-point relaxation method to put me to sleep... and on every fifth count I visulize the words again and say it in my head. I really had a hard time remembering my dreams at first. Now I can say that just a couple of time and remember like 3 dreams a night... I still have yet to have a lucid dream... my first and only one was over 6 months ago.
Speaking of that... does anyone know how I could increase llucidity... I can remember my dreams but cant seem to control them. Right after I wake up, I beat myself up cuz I knew it was a dream but I didnt know it at the time.

Well I did it!! I remembed 4 dreams last night a couple of them in great detail!!! I slept like 10-12 hrs and took b-6 and melatonin before I went to bed, also 1 sleeping pill (i suck at falling asleep) I have to give credit to the b-6 and such, but when I woke up I laid there and thought sooo hard about everything I could remember, and backtracked and figured out all those dreams, it was awesome never could do that before, they just kept coming to me.. hope to get to the point where I can do this everynight

      Well Done!

Just one note of worry... I've heard that B6 and melatonin can have a very bad effect together. Usually insomnia though.
Have you tried melatonin by itself with the same sort of sleep?

BTW, I tried melatonin last night. Doesn't seem to do much for me, but it might be to early to say

I took 6mg of melatonin tonight, each tablet 3mgs , each tablet actually has 10mg of b-6 in it too, but the other night I took an aditional b-6 right before i fell asleep which was 100mg. I'll try just the melatonin tonight, unless the urge to grab the b-6 is too much. let ya know what happens tomorrow.

Wow that is some strong dosage...

I recommend you be careful with all of that, you don't want it to get out of hand...

yeah i took some the other night, no dream recall..... so i'm going to go without the drugs for a while, maybe the melatonin cause i think it helps me fall asleep..... before all this dreaming stuff I had terrible insomnia, couldn't fall asleep before 4 am usually and then lay in bed with eyes closed for hrs, but now 20-30mins in bed and i'll be asleep usually, depends on the drugs i take.

i know i'll sleep good tonight though cause i'm sick as a dog...

      peace

Yeah that happens to me alot too...

When I can't fall asleep until 4am I just set my alarm for 8 or 9am. I also try to excersize that day. At the end of the day I should be tired enough to fall asleep at least at 2am, if not sooner...

You can also try to set your alarm to your REM CYCLES.

[4 1/2 hours into sleep, then in 90 minute cycles.]

It seems like I have awesome dreams now everynight most of them involve guns (I dont obsess with guns or own one) just in my dreams. I know i'll be LDing in at least a couple months if not sooner.
