Unhappy I something wrong with me?

Umm...hello...I just joined the forum. I'm here because I'm concerned about my sanity or whatever it happens to be. You see...the things that I hear people do when they're lucid, I do when I'm not lucid.
I was reading some dream site and it said that flying is usually done when someone is lucid, as are other...odd activities. I do all that when I'm not lucid.
In my dreams, I can move things with my mind, pass through solid objects, jump over fenses, cars and such--I can even fly, but I'm not lucid during these activities. I always remember my dreams, save for the few very abnormal times that I can't.
It's just worrying me that something may be wrong with me, so I'm here seeing what you all know of it.
I do admit now, though, that when I fly in dreams, I'm wobbly. I don't have wings, so in my dreams I use telekinesis and air currents to keep me aloft, but I occassionally run into updrafts and whatnot that can knock me out of the sky almost or take me way off course.
When I pass through things, like walls, cars, people and such, it does hurt a bit. I can feel myself moveing through it, and sometimes organs move and don't move back into place...that can be a pain in the butt to fix.
So...I was here wondering if there's something wrong with me and such.
      Does anyone know what's happening?
If anyone wants a sample of my more normal dreams, you can find them here:
It's my blog...I sometimes post dreams there.
      So...can anyone help?
Is this like an early sign of a mental problem or something?

Ther is absolutely nothing wrong with you.
Many people can do all sorts of out-there things in their dreams.
in fact, anybody can do anything at all in their dreams, they just cant remember it.
The fact that you do those things in your everyday (rather everynight) dreaming probably means that you are more open to these sort of things than the run-of-the-mill person is. certainly nothing to freak out about.

      Welcome to Dream Views, Judia.

Don't worry, there is absolutely nothing wrong with you. My non-lucid dreams often have stranger content than my lucid dreams. Flying, aliens, wars, movie plots, superpowers...I've even died and become a ghost in some of them. (Check out my journal, sometime - links are in my Sig - if you want some good examples of dream insanity. Haha.)

Basically, anything that you can imagine doing, while awake, is likely to happen, at some point or another, in your dreams - even the non-lucid ones.

In my non-lucids, I've gone insane and murdered people, or fought in tense wars/battles, flew, or even experienced strange and surreal worlds. Hell, I even once dreamt of a perfectly normal day of school.

What does that mean about me? Nothing... they are just dreams. I've yet to go insane or murder someone, and I haven't ended up joining the army or getting involved in some sort of conflict. All in all, they are merely constructs of my mind. If anything, you should just study and think about the dreams, and try to find out how you maybe recognise these dreams and any dreamsigns in them.

There's nothing wrong with you in the end of the day... you are just as insane as the rest of us :p

Well if that makes you insane, then it makes all of us insane Sounds like you might have dream control in those dreams too but I'm not sure.

What is dream control? I have VERY vivid dreams, just as if it was real, except the colors are more vivid. I always remember my dreams and stuff...

Well dream control is controlling your dreams and lucid dreaming is knowing you're dreaming.
Usually the two go together but sometimes they work seperately.

      I am no expert but

too me you are just a normal person

but you can remember your dreams very clearly

I'm sure every-one out there has those dreams but only a select few (or those who train to recall their dream) remember them so vividly

Nothing too worry about i'm sure !!

Dream control is just when you're lucid, and you can control what you do. You know how when you dream normally, it's like you just DO things, like how people will say they have dreams of murdering people and they would never do that in real life. It's like you can't control it. When you're lucid you can make your own decisions. It feels like you're awake, but you're just in a dreamworld, therefore you can control what you do. And you've got nothing wrong with you, you just dream normally about the things that people want to do while they're concious of what they're doing

its all natural to do all that stuff. whats good about those things is that they can be turned around into dream signs and used to spark lucidity.

And, I have to agree with everyone else...it's normal.

It's a damn dream. Soak it in, learn from it, and keep having more like that. It's so fun. Trust me.
