Hey guys and gals. I'm new here as you may have already guessed and new to LD. My names Andy and I'm 16. I love 3d animation and drawing. I also like 2d animation but don't really have much time for it anymore. But yeah, guess I'll catch you guys around the forums, gonna go try and whip up some fantasies.

Thanks for the welcome guys. But yeah, I would say I'm not completely new to LD. See I would say LD found me instead of me looking for it.

See the past few nights I've been having some nightmares. But half way through them I realize that they are nightmares and just change things to go my way. I looked this up on erowid and they call it Lucid Dreaming, so thats how I found this place.

And as for the method of me getting into lucid dreaming, I'd say I have my own method(unless someone has already came up with this). All I do is have a nightmare, I can usually do this by just watching Pink Floyd: The Wall before bed. That movie scares the shit out of me. Lol, even if that doesn't work I can normally fall into a dream every night, the only hard part is realizing I'm dreaming. But once I start to realize that I'm dreaming, I will wake up shortly after trying to change things.

Looks like we've got a lot in common. Aside from the art thing (nice that you've already seen my art thread. Heh) I started out LDing in the exact same way you did, as a way to escape from / fight against nightmares. Good luck with future lucid experiences and, if you need anything, don't hesitate to ask.
