      Hello

Hi i just signed up here, been into this for several months though. I have some previous signs i'd like to share for some opinions on whether i was close before.

I remember in my childhood having dreams of being able to fly, i struggled to maintain flight and managed to do it for longer sometimes more than others and tended to drift back to the ground often.

I also remember feeling laying on my bed with my eyes closed relaxing. After awhile i felt weird like i was floating up off the bed

Lately i've been trying, my nearest thing to lucidity was realising i was dreaming and i could hear my doorbell ringing, i turned to the dream character of my father and said i must go now to get the door, then woke up, the doorbell had just finished ringing. I went to answer it and it was my dad waking me up to go to work. Is this dream lucidity?

Yup thats the key to lucidity. As long as you know you are dreaming you are lucid.

      HI and welcome Stell.

As soon as you realise you are dreaming, that IS lucidity. Whether the lucidity lasts for hours or for one second after the realisation... it's all lucidity.

Hope to see you about Dream Views.

Ok well thats a start then That happened while being woke up in the morning, so i'm going to attempt to recreate that tomorrow morning.

Before i was into this, when i used to have good/cool dreams and i woke up, i found it quite easy most times to re-enter the same dream through stating that intention in my mind, maybe adding a little to this statement will allow me to re-enter the dream while being lucid

      Thanks for the help
