      New here...

I just registered to the site a few mintues ago though I've been sort of looking at it and even trying some things. A while back I had had a real interest in this but after amonth of no progress (or what seemed like no progress) I sort of gave up. Hopefully by joining I can get a few more tips and succeed in completing a LD. I have had a few un-induced lucid dreams but besides that I don't have much else experience other than substance use(nothing *illegal* of course ;0).

My dream recall isn't terrible I suppose. I can remember at least 2 or three dreams nightly though in the past I could do more. Since my dream recall isn't my weakest point, what would you suggest be my next move into getting closer to LDing. I understand it's a long process for some and may take patients. Anything you could suggest to help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Hello and welcome to Dream Views!

I would suggest you start by reading through the tutorials: http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...splay.php?f=25

There are many techniques listed there and I would find one that seems to make the most sense and is the most doable for you. Once you select that technique, stay with it for at least a week or more before switching to another one.

Hope this helps and if you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

      yea, check out the tutorials

tonight, you ought to try to "WILD" (wake-initiated lucid dream), because hey it's worth a shot right? then tomorrow morning after say 5 hours sleep try a "WBTB" or a "DEILD." Then tomorrow maybe start practicing reality checks.
      ...that's what I've been doing...
The first thing I tried when learning about lucid dreaming was a "WILD," and though it didn't work directly I still had it on the mind when dreaming so I had a "DILD" (dream-initiated lucid dream)!

this will all make sense when you read the tutorials and such.

      GOOD LUCK!

Do RC's throughout the day and fucus on LDing right before sleep.
      Control is Everything
      LD Count:33
      WILD:6, DILD:27, MILD:3
(At this point, I've completely lost count. Those are my last accurate stats.)
