My last night sleep - first time trying

      Hello everyone,
      Im new here
yesterday was the first time i tried to become lucid.
I closed my eyes. and i opened them to see its morning.
      it was the WEIRDEST thing.
its like i went to bed at night, closed my eyes. opened my eyes, its morning.
      it.
and btw my face was facing upwards when i closed my eyes, and was facing upwards when i opened my eyes.
its like i never moved my face for like 6 hours

It's happened to me too, all that needs to happen for it to occur is for you to fall asleep suddenly, wake up suddenly, and remember none of your dreams. As for the way you didn't seem to move, you're paralyzed for most of the time that you're sleeping, which keeps you from moving much, so it's not that uncommon to wake up in the same position you fell asleep much.

      Hi hhaider!

Were you overly tired? What method did you use to try to become lucid and what's the last thing you remember?

If you had tried to WILD, you might find some helpful info in my technique (see the link in my signature below).

Oh, and welcome to Dream Views!

      yesterday,
i had a dream of a rubbery, and the thieve shot me in the hand.
it didn't hurt a lot, but i tried to call 911, but no one was picking up.
then i partialy woke up and then fell asleep.
then i think i became lucid, cuz i knew i was dreaming, and i kept rubing my hands together to not wake up.
i did some nice things, but i don't remember them.

If you knew you were dreaming enough to keep rubbing your hands so you wouldn't wake up, then yes, you were lucid!

      Congratulations!

It sucks to have a lucid dream and not remember the details.. that's why it's important to practice your dream recall!
