      *~HELP with Dream Terms!!!*~

      Heyy people, I'm really desperate for some help here. I've seen many terms like WILD, MILD, DILD, WBTB, VILP, and DEILD. I'd really appriciate any definitions on what these are and how to achieve them while dreaming. I've just had lucid dreams where I know I'm dreaming, but I'd like to expand my lucid dreaming. Someone please help me with this!!

      DILD=Dream Induced Lucid Dream
      DEILD=Dream Exit Incuded Lucid Dream
      MILD= Mmemnonic Induced Lucid Dream

      Hope that helps!

      WILD = wake induced lucid dream
      WBTB = wake back to bed.

      Take a look at the tutorials section, it's really helpful. And welcome!

      What, exactly, IS a Wake Back to Bed?? How do you do it, and what happens when you do it?

      All the above mentioned are different techniques to induce a lucid dream. If you want to know how each technique works, go to the tutorials section and the attaining lucid section.

      WBTB is usually used combined with another technique. This is probably in the tutorials section, but basically you sleep for 5-6 hours, stay up for roughly 30 minutes, and go back to bed using some LD technique.

      Whats an RC and an RL? And what the hell is a wake induced lucid dream? Dreaming while your awake. Does this have anything to do with hallucinating from sleep deprivation?

      Thanks alot.

      Ah I get it. I've been doing WILD's for a long time now but I never knew what to call them. It just happens naturally sometimes that I can see myself falling asleep and even if I wake myself up as long as I dont roll over or move it keeps happening over and over again.

      I've got good at holding myself in between wake and sleep. I get all sorts of sleep paralysis type hallucinations when I do that. Sometimes I hear music playing, sometimes I feel a jackhammer being drilled into my back, sometimes I see shadows flying around screeching, I always vibrate and feel my face caving in and I always hear this loud screeching sound like wind rushing in my ears.

      How, exactly, does waking up and going back to bed combined with another lucid dream method help or make the dream more lucid? I'm going to try the WILD method tonight, and I'd like to make sure if I should do the wake up thingy if it will help me with my dreaming.

      Well the idea is you wake up during REM, stay up long enough so that when you go back to sleep you are more likely to stay conscious.

      Ah, so that's how that thing works! Thanks so much.
      Oh, and can someone please give me a detailed description of what a DEILD is and what it's like? I can look in the tutorial on how to do it, but I'd just like a reply from an outside source.
