Smile Hello to all of Dreamviews forums

Hello to everyone, my name is Bruno I'm from Portugal.

I've registered on the website because today I discovered the idea of Lucid Dreaming, since I'm an person that hardly can remember the dreams after browsing the forums I've realised that it might be possible for me to try to not remembering them... but living them...

I've printed the Dream Recall tutorial from atarxis and will start tonight with my journal, although I would like to ask everyone if you can tell some tips of how to bette remember the dreams in the morning!

      thanks in advance!

What people normally suggest is lying still when you wake up, and not changing your position. Stops the dreams getting dislodged and falling out apparently :-). If you can only seem to remember what happened when you woke up, try gradually thinking backwards, remembering what happened before you woke up, then before that, etc.

I would add that if I try to remember as soon as I wake up, its still quite easy to forget about it again, especially if I fall asleep again (either lying in in the morning or if I wake in the night). You might not want to write in a dream journal every time you wake up. I find I can remember better if I describe the dream to myself in English rather than just reliving it. Either as if you were talking to yourself, or pretending to make notes on paper - you could even type it up in your head. When I try to recall it later on, I tend to remember my description first and that acts like a key.

P.S. Welcome to DV. I think we should have a special DV welcome. I used to read the Ornery American debate forum a lot, and they reply to newcomers with "Welcome to Ornery, you are wrong" :-D.

Hi there Anyone and to DreamViews.

My number one tip would be to get your dream recall up first then try to lucid, however you can do both at the same time if you wish.

Thank you all for the words of support

I must say that I was pretty bad yesterday when I went to bed and didn't expected to remember anything this morning... although I've managed to remember 2 of my dreams, which I can find very positive for someone who can barely remember anything from the night!

      Once again Thank you all
