Hey, that's cool, my main dreamsign is school too! (or people i'd only see at school) I like to usually think of a WILD as keeping still enough that you give your whole body pins and needles and you stay awake through it. I am still trying to do WILD, and i hope i can, because the few times i have become lucid, i haven't my memories from real life, so i'm thinking if i do a WILD, i'll have my memories, as i am consciously entering the dream...

For whomever asked, FILD-Finger Induced Lucid Dream, and WBTB- Wake Back to Bed.

I still haven't gotten an answer. WILD seems way to advanced for this stage in the game.
You do this every fucking time.
      No sweat.
      No tears.
      No guilt.
You do this every fucking time.

Man I remember that I used to WILD so much as a kid... totally involuntarily... it was great... I still remember what it looked like when I was entering a dream... it was like flying through a cosmos in space and then a fade-in to my dream, and reversed for when I was waking up.... Totally awesome. Sorry, but your post suddenly reminded me of that.

MILD has worked best for me, thus far.

If I'm not mistaken (and I could be) MILD is essentially a technique for inducing DILD's. It's not really as complicated as it sounds.

      1. Sleep for a while (5-6 hours, if you aren't sure how long is best for you)
      2. As soon as you wake up, write the dream you were having.
      3. Stay up for a half hour to an hour (WBTB)
      4. Go back to bed, and while you are falling asleep, think about the dream you just had. Imagine what would have happened if you had become lucid in that dream. When could you have become lucid? What would you have done after becoming lucid? etc
      5. Repeat step 4 over and over until you go to sleep.

That gave me a DILD the first time I tried it, and it works about one out of every four tries.

Does that clear up some of your questions about MILD?
